【東京】万博「いのち宣言」フェスティバルに出演します！

東京子どもアンサンブルは、10月11日(土)に大阪・関西万博で開催される「いのち宣言」フェスティバルに出演させていただくこととなりました。
主催団体である「いのち会議」とは、大阪大学、関西経済連合会、関西経済同友会、大阪商工会議所が発起人となり設立された、「性別、年齢、地域、職業、文化、民族を超えた包括的な『共創ネットワーク』」です。
以前より、東京子どもアンサンブルのインクルーシブな活動にご賛同いただいており、これまでにも「第1回いのち共感祭」や、特別イベント「シリアスゲームと音楽で体感する多様性と共生」への参加を通して協働してきました。
今回の「いのち宣言」フェスティバルでは、大阪・関西万博のテーマ「いのち輝く未来社会」に向けた行動指針である「いのち宣言」が世界に発信されます。
フェスティバル出演に向け、東京子どもアンサンブルは「いのちの歌」(作詞:Miyabi、作曲:村松祟継、編曲:横山潤子)を新たに練習しています。
歌詞やメロディーが心に深く響く、子どもたちも大好きな曲です。
かなりの難曲ですが、本番1ヶ月前となり、子どもたちは休み時間も自主的に音取りをしたり、毎日自宅で練習するなど、一生懸命取り組んでいます。
さまざまな背景を持つ子どもたちが集まり、ともに声を重ねる毎週末の練習では、「ささやかすぎる 日々の中に かけがえない喜びがある」という歌詞が胸に迫ります。再び万博での演奏機会をいただけることに感謝し、日々の練習を積み重ねていきます。
